WARNING: Words and Actions

There’s another aspect to the myths you shared in last week’s tip. While it’s true that telling doesn’t equal communication, there is another issue worth mentioning.
It’s the disconnect that happens when a leader says one thing and then acts in ways that are totally contradictory.
Be very aware that EVERYTHING you say AND DO communicates something– be sure you know what it is and be sure your actions are consistent with your words.”    ~ from MaryBeth, a TTT Reader
Thanks MB for this great reminder that we broadcast in multiple channels. When words and actions do not match, people believe actions.
Remember, people hear what you do because actions speak louder than words.
