As a culture change strategist and business author, I’ve seen the words culture change, change and leadership defined numerous ways over the years. Is it charisma and positive thinking? Pinstripes and red power ties? Decisiveness? Is it all about the situation? Is it meant only for the chosen few who rise to the top? Or, is there a different story?

With over two decades of executive coaching, speaking, and (most importantly!) real-life, in-the-trenches business experience, I have a radically different view. I believe that leadership is about action, not title, tenure, or position. Change is a force to be reckoned with, and culture is a leverage point that costs nothing but changes the game completely.

About Donna


I am a culture change strategist, leadership coach, masterful facilitator, keynote speaker and a Rebel Leader. I thrive when I am helping leaders lead from the exponential power that comes from the core of who they are, rather than trying to fit into a leadership mold. Leaders who lead this way, while passionately living out their purpose and being intentional about culture, make the most of their potential while creating profit for stakeholders and flourishing workplaces for employees. That means that when people come to work, it’s a place where they love what they do and they become the best of who they are meant to be; everyone wins!

My leadership journey included helping found and lead the Global Association of Change Management Professionals for 9 years, as well as building a ridiculously successful management consulting practice for another company.

I believe in creating real solutions and meeting real needs. So, almost fifteen years ago I started Brighton Leadership Group, a company that is about leadership, excellence and making a difference in the world. With the help of my team, we have supported leaders with great tools, written content and speaking. Our resources include the Culturally Intelligent Change approach, the Flourishing Workplace book, the upcoming Rebel Leader Field Guide series of leadership books, and a variety of leadership tools.

My passion is making connections (people to people, people to ideas and ideas to ideas!). A few years ago, I noticed that great conversations between leaders often happened over a glass of wine. Leadership Uncorked ( was created, and the rest is history!

On the personal side, I love spending time with family and friends, constantly seek to learn and explore, and cheer wildly for the Pittsburgh Steelers. You will usually find me with a glass of wine in my hand.
