Assessments

There’s a part of the mind that you don’t hear a lot about. It’s what some people call “instincts” or that “gut feeling” when you’re making a decision. Our secret: we know what natural strengths/instincts you were born with and how you can use them to be the most productive, stress-free version of yourself.

Kolbe measures your instinctive way of doing things and the result is called your MO (method of operation). It is the only validated assessment that measures a person’s conative strengths. Gain greater understanding of your own human nature and begin the process of maximizing your potential.

The Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation™ (FIRO®) assessments help people understand their interpersonal needs and how those needs influence their communication style and behavior. These accessible and universally applicable personality assessments have helped individuals, teams, and organizations around the world grow and succeed. In a recent survey, more than 90 percent of FIRO‑B® customers improved teamwork within their organization or for their clients.

Uncover your potential by understanding yourself and those around you.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment delivers enduring and invaluable insight into your personality preferences. Based on sound psychological theory and backed by more than 70 years of research, it’s the world’s best-known and most widely used  personality assessment.

The MBTI assessment is used by millions of people worldwide every year because it provides a simple, positive foundation for personal development and self-awareness. It also provides a common language for appreciating differences.

The MBTI assessment will help you get to know yourself better, enhance your interpersonal skills, have better relationships with family, friends, and coworkers, and make better choices in your life. It will help you become the best version of yourself you can be.

The DiSC® model provides a common language that people can use to better understand themselves and to adapt their behaviors with others — within a work team, a sales relationship, a leadership position, or other relationships.

DiSC profiles help you and your team:

  • Increase your self-knowledge: how you respond to conflict, what motivates you, what causes you stress, and how you solve problems
  • Improve working relationships by recognizing the communication needs of team members
  • Facilitate better teamwork and teach productive conflict
  • Develop stronger sales skills by identifying and responding to customer styles
  • Manage more effectively by understanding the dispositions and priorities of employees and team members.

The Enneagram is one of the most powerful and insightful  tools for understanding ourselves and others.   At its core, the Enneagram helps us to see ourselves at a deeper, more objective level and can be of invaluable assistance on our path to self-knowledge.

Discover your strengths, do more of your best work. Created by Marcus Buckingham, the StandOut Assessment is a brief online situational judgment test that measures you against 9 “Strength Roles” and reveals your Top 2. These Roles describe your edge — those ingrained traits and tendencies that give you a natural advantage. The assessment asks you to choose the answer that best describes what you would do in a series of given situations. Each question is timed in order to capture your natural and instinctive responses. The result is an assessment that captures not your own self-perception (as many assessments do) but your tendencies of thought and action — how others experience you.

The Birkman Map Symbols derive from a multitude of factors that are measured including Interests, Behaviors, and Needs. They represent a unique aspect with regard to one’s approach, style, and areas of motivation.

Usual Behavior describes how you typically behave. These behaviors are your strengths, and they compose your most productive style. Your Usual Behavior encompasses how other people see you and how you act when your Needs are met.

Self-awareness of how others view your behavior helps you understand the gap between how you think you come across versus how others experience you. These insights help you determine what works best for you naturally.

Needs represent how you expect to be treated by other people and your environment. Needs are often invisible. Stress Behavior is how you may act when your Needs have not been met for an extended period of time.

When your Needs aren’t met, your Stress Behavior may become activated. Understanding Needs and Stress helps you gain insight into actionable steps to better-manage yourself and avoid unproductive behavior.

Interests reflect activities you naturally gravitate towards and what you like to do, both inside and out of the workplace.

Knowing your Interests helps you understand what motivates you, guiding your career and life decisions to stay energized and productive.

The Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) describes normal, or bright-side personality – qualities that describe how we relate to others when we are at our best.

The Hogan Development Survey (HDS) describes the dark side of personality – qualities that emerge in times of increased strain and can disrupt relationships, damage reputations, and derail peoples’ chances of success.

The Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI) describes personality from the inside – the core goals, values, drivers, and interests that determine what we desire and strive to attain.

The Hogan Business Reasoning Inventory (HBRI) describes reasoning style – the ability to evaluate sets of data, make decisions, solve problems, and avoid repeating past mistakes.
